Before you come to Catalonia? You should arrange a flat, flat-share, or room in a student residence. Alternatively, you can book a room in a hotel, boarding house or hostel, so as to ensure that you will have accommodation for at least the first days of your stay.

What documentation is required?
 To rent a flat or room (long-term accomodation):
 Documentary proof that you are associated with a university in Barcelona.
A copy of your passport or identity card.
To book short-term accommodation in a hotel, hostel, boarding house, etc:
You will need to comply with the specific rules of each establishment, usually full personal details and a credit card number are required.
To rent a room in a residence you must follow the specific procedures established for each residence www.bcn-housing-students.com. (Here you will find links to websites for all kinds of accommodation, and you can also consult the websites referred to above).
