What to do? ___________________________________________________________________

What should I do once in Catalonia? All residents should apply for a personalised health insurance card, which is both individual and non-transferable. Each family member, moreover, must have his/her own card, regardless of age.

Where can I obtain a health insurance card? If you have not already received a health card, contact your local primary care centre or call Sanitat Respon (the healthcare information line) on 902 111 444. They will give you the information you need and tell you what steps to take to apply for a card.
